Uh... not letting other people cheat is pretty important. Cheating is a huge problem in schools and universities, and we all have a responsibility to stop this unethical behaviour.

If you cheat, you learn nothing (I'm guessing you cheated in the past, because if you hadn't, you wouldn't be having trouble now), and you cheapen whatever program you're doing for everyone else. The more cheating there is in a school, the more suspicious universities/employers/etc. will be of anyone from there, including students who worked really hard and didn't cheat.
