If f(x)=1/x+2, what is f(3+h)? (will post answer choices in a sec!) ***Please explain... do i plug it in??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer choices A,B, C, D (top to bottom)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

\[f(x)=\frac 1{(x)+2}\] \[f(3+h)=\frac1{(3+h)+2}\]

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

can you see how i have done this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk how to simplify it more :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, you plugged it into the x value right?

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

yeah, now just take out the brackets and simplify the constants , you should get one of the options

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait, do i get this then? |dw:1348894364587:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):
