Try to factorise the expressions in the numerator and denominator. Can u plz tell me vat u get?

i tried i dont know how

OpenStudy (ajprincess):

First let us take the expression in the numerator. 2x^2+16x+30. As u can see 2 is common to all three terms. so let us first take it out. Then u get 2(x^2+8x+15) Nw to factorise x^2+8x+30 we have to find two numbers such that their sum is 8 and product is 15. U will find that 5 and 3 satisfy the above conditions. 2(x^2+8x+15) =2(x^2+(5+3)x+(5*3)) =2(x^2+5x+3x+15) Nw let us take x^2 and 5x together and see vat is common to both of them. U will find x is common to both of them and when u take it out u will get x(x+5). similarly 3x+15 =3(x+5) Nw combining both of this giv u 2(x^2+5x+3x+15) =2(x+5)(x+3) Does that makes sense? Similarly can u factorise the expression in the denominator?
