Like how many medals or other requirements?
OpenStudy (compassionate):
OpenStudy ranks are not decided by the user-medal count. The rank is decided by how often the user gets online and helps people. Medals are just there to show that the person is reliable. Medals do play a roll in ranking up, but a very small role and is relatively unnoticed at higher ranks.
