What are ways of remembering how many cups are in a pint and how many aware in a quart? Please explain an example of how you convert the measurement.

There are two pints in a 8 oz in cup, and 2 cups in a pint and 2 pints in a quart.
You can convert by remembering: smaller to larger divide, larger to smaller multiply.
So if you want to go quarts to pints, you would multiply by 2, but if you want to go pint to quarts, you would divide by 2.
