Give the coordinates of two points on the line x = 5. Give the coordinates of two points on the line y = -2. Write the equation of the horizontal line passing through the point (-1, -8). Write the equation of the vertical line passing through the point (3, 1). Is the line with equation x = 4 horizontal or vertical? What is the slope of this line? Is the line with equation y = -8 horizontal or vertical? What is the slope of this line? Could ANYBODY help out :'c

coordinate points come in the form of (x,y) for the line x=5 means all coordinate points on that line x=5 so you make up 2 random y values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 coordinates on line x =5 is (5,5) and (5,1). X-coordinate will remain constant Similarly on line y = -2 is (1,-2) and (2,-2).y- coordinate constant Horizontal line means y- coordinate constant : y = -8 Vertical line means x - coordinate constant : x = 3 Line x = 4 is vertical and its slope is 90 degrees. Line y = -8 is horizontal and its slope is 0 degrees.
