OpenStudy (ars22):

how can you quickly create an artificial rain bow that can be seen in a picture???

sam (.sam.):

Oh, Its alot of theory behind it, it involves incident and reflected rays of light hitting a drop of rain. Some reference sites or videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9iB2PALVeY (Walter Lewin) http://www.cord.edu/faculty/manning/physics215/studentpages/genamahlen.html http://www.rebeccapaton.net/rainbows/formatn.htm I don't think I'll type all of the explanations here because its almost the same explanation from other sites.

OpenStudy (ars22):

Sorry but this doesn't answer my question. I need to make an artificial one but I don't have a hose

OpenStudy (ars22):

I tried both of these websites before and I did get the rainbow but it would not get captured with or without flash. Do you know what I can do?

sam (.sam.):

You mean you want to take photo of it?

OpenStudy (ars22):

yes but with me in it (for a project in LA)
