Why is a rainbow semicircular? Why does an electric bulb glow immediately whereas a tube light take sometime to glow when the switch is ‘turned on’. How are aquatic animals able to survive even when the atmospheric temperature falls several degrees below the normal ‘ice-point’? How is one able to talk instantly to a friend in another country using a mobile phone? How is one able to watch, ‘live’ on television, an event or happening occurring anywhere in the world?
