if n is divisible by 5 does that imply n=25 if n=25 does that imply n is divisible by 5 A reason as to why is welcome.

OpenStudy (tamtoan):

what do you think of number ending in 5 and 0 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is divisible by 5, but I am looking for help with the antecedent and consequent logic reasoning

OpenStudy (tamtoan):

well then it's not necessarily n = 25 right? n can be other number too , so do you think the statement : if n is divisible by 5, n is 25 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for the attempt and it may be as clear and simple as that but I have a feeling there is something else I am missing

OpenStudy (tamtoan):

the first state is not necessarily true, the second state is true :)
