Can someone explain how to solve 2+9i/5+6i?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhm mulitply top and bottom by (5-6i)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I did that already and got 64+33i? Then the steps after that threw me off and now I'm lost.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you have (33i+64)/(25+36) (64+33i)/61

OpenStudy (anonymous):

64/61 + 33i/61

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah that's what I got and I thought it was wrong because 64/61 is an improper fraction.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah no worries you are right
