Can you make a diagram for me to show how chlorine and hydrogen form from the compound hydrogen chloride, HCI?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mean into its ions?

OpenStudy (zeesbrat3):

Well, I think it just wants me to combine them to make the compound. I dont think it wants me to show an ionic bond

OpenStudy (zeesbrat3):

@s.mustafa88

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as an equation right?

OpenStudy (zeesbrat3):

as a model, but I dont understand what it wants me to draw. Do I just draw the two elements combined?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm well what i understand from the question its the other way around meaning how HCL dissociates into H2 and CL2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2hcl= h2+cl2 i think you should draw a model of that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@zeesbrat3

OpenStudy (zeesbrat3):

okay, thanks
