Find the equation of the line that contains the ordered pairs given on the table. X=4,2,1 Y_8,4,2 Enter anwser as y=mx+c please, i need help ! thanks (:

Using the equation (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) you should be able to find the slope. (4-8)/(2-4) = -4/-2 = 2 Plugging in this value for m you get: y=2x+c Now plug in values from your table for x and y to get c 8=2(4)+c ----> 8-2(4)=c ----> c=0 Therefore: y=2x +0 or just y=2x
