how to find area and circumference of circle diameter=5.8 (in exact form)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because the area of a circle is equal to pi*r^2, divide 5.8 by two to get the radius and plug this value into the equation. The equation for circumference equals pi*diameter so the circumference of this circle in exact form is 5.8pi. (Exact form in this case is just not trying to round to pi. just keep the symbol in your answer!)

so the answer would be 8.41pi?
