OpenStudy (aimmebgood):

factor completely until unfactorable. x^(2) + 2x - 15. Im stuck at x(x + 2 - 15). am i on the right track?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. What you have is x(x-13), which is not right. Note that -3 + 5 = 2 and (-3)*(5) = 15. That gets you: \[ \fbox{(x-3)(x+5)}. \]
