How do you use the point-slope form to predict the pounds of oranges produced by an 18 foot tree and a 20 foot tree? This is the equation I am suppose to use to figure it out: p-40=50/9(h-6)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

why not rewrite the equation with p as the subject. This can be achieved by adding 40 to both sides of the equation.. then substitute h = 18 to get a prediction and repeat the process for = = 20
