Wouldnt it be 5 then? but its not in the answers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait 6 because 9s^5t^1 right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As stated on Wikipedia, it is the degree of the term with greatest sum of the powers. In this case, 9 * s^5 * t^1 has a degree of 6 (or 5 + 1). So you're right, the answer is 6!
