i need to take the derivative of 3-x am i right to treat the 3 as a constant call it zero, and the derivative of whats left -x is -x

zepdrix (zepdrix):

you need to apply the power rule to -x c: \[-x^1\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

But yes you are correct about the 3 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i treat the x as -x^1 to complete the differentiation of my equation or is there something else i need to do because -x^1 is x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-x^1 is -x
