python 2.5.4 on installing on MAC OSX 10.8.2 shows security issue and reports it is from an unidentified developer.So how to proceed installing other secured version python on MAC so that the course curriculum can be implemented on python.

I am new to the course and in software requirement it is stating 2.5.4(2.5 or 2.6 version are acceptable)Also when I hav typed python over terminal on MAC OS X 10.8.2  it stated 2.7.2 is installed and then resume to >>>.Tell me will I be requiring to install other version of python.And if not then how to make use of already installed python?

if you download your version from a trusted source ie the link given to us all i will be safe to allow the install you are running!

Python sometimes has that problem because of the way it interacts with the operating system, but don't worry, as long as you followed the link given in the course; there is no security vulnerability.
