what is 140 as a product of its prime factors.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

keep dividing by 2 until you get an odd number then try other primes : 3,5 etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2*2*5*7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide 140 by 2 gives you 70 (factors = 70, 2) divide 70 by 2 gives 35 (factors = 35, 2, 2) divide 35 by 5 gives 7 (factors = 7, 5, 2, 2) all these factors are prime, so cannot be further reduced. This is the answer.

\[2^2 \times 5 \times 7\] my previous way wrong ;)
