how can you ask "what is his name" in Spanish?
que es su nombre?
Yeah, you could say ¿Qué es su nombre? Or you could say ¿Cómo se llama él?
Yup, both are correct!
Actually "Qué es su nombre" is completely wrong. The answer to that question is" Su nombre es la cosa que la gente usa para llamarle" Qué es = what is the definition of. His name is the thing that people use to call him. That's the definition. Cuál es su nombre? or Como se llama? are correct.
*cómo se llama, sorry
cómo se lamma el is the way I was taught to say it,
¿Cual es su nombre? o ¿Como se llama el? either way is correct
ok, thank you guys! i think ¿como se llama el? is what i need..but thanks, i didn't know how to say the other ones before:)
okay. just remember that llama sounds like yamma.
yeah..i know:) thx!
Your very welcome. I hope all of this feedback helps you.
yeah it did:)
You say: " como te llamas"
¿Cómo te llamas? means "What is your name?" We're trying to ask, "What is his name?"
