what is 0.5b + 4 = 2(b + 2) ? 0 0.5 no solution identity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply both sides by 2 to get oyu started: b+8=b+2 now you can see that if you subtract b from both sides, it will dissapear. that means there will be no solution to this equation. you can see for yourself in the math above. there is no number you can plug in to make them equal to eachother
