Newton's Third Law - 1) A man is swimming in a pool. As he pushes the water backwards with each stroke of his arm, the water pushes him forward with an equal force. How come the man moves but the water doesn't? 2) In free-fall, te earth's pull on you makes you accelerate toward the ground at the rate "g". Yet you pull the earth with an equal and opposite force. Why doesn't the earth appear to accelerate?
