diagram ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh gosh sorry one sec please

hartnn (hartnn):
congruent triangles have congruent sides.
can u equate congruent sides of those 2 triangles ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
as both the triangles are congruent, RT = XZ
hence, x + 21 = 2x - 14
x = 21 - 14

a.7?
hartnn (hartnn):
nopes, and the equation by @miteshchvm is incorrect
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ahh..i used her equation
hartnn (hartnn):
u understand how
x+21 = 2x-14 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
as both the triangles are congruent, RT = XZ
hence, x + 21 = 2x - 14
x = 21 + 14

is it right now Mr.@hartnn ?
hartnn (hartnn):
@miteshchvm , do not give entire solution!
OpenStudy (anonymous):
35
hartnn (hartnn):
but did u get how ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@Lunalovegood you got it?

i looked at how she did it then i wrote out the problem and got 35
hartnn (hartnn):
can u do same thing for other problems?
can u find y similarly?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
are you asking if i can find y?
hartnn (hartnn):
yes. can u ?
and did u understand the solution, so that you can do it on your own ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes and is it 15?

yes, y=15
hartnn (hartnn):
good work! :)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thanks!
hartnn (hartnn):
welcome :)
i believe you can do similar sums on your own now.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i think so
