How would one use MLA style parenthetical citation to cite a quote from the back cover of a book?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have Microsoft word? It makes it a bunch easier. If you don't, there are some websites that can generate the citation for you, you just enter the information. You would transition your opening sentence like: John Howard, Englands' first appointed sheriff states that, "In 1790, the U.S. jail and prison conditions were horrible (Howard)." Make sure you cite your citation before your period and quotation. Also be sure to include your works cited page.

Just gonna add this your best way of understanding anything MLA is probably this site: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/01/
