Differentiate the following function....

\[f(x)=12/x - 4/x ^{3}+1/x ^{4}+2e ^{x}+3\]

Are you familiar with the power rule for differentiation? :) Rewrite each term so your variables are in the numerator (remember that the power on x will change from positive to negative when it's flipped like that!) Maybe that will help :D

In general (power rule) \[\frac{d}{dx}x^n=nx^{n-1}\] EX: \[\frac{d}{dx}x^{-5}=-5x^{-6}\]
