hey... just wanna know... anyone knows how the radius of the 'dees' on a cyclotron affects the velocity of the charged particles? please do help.. thanks loads..:)

the answer might seem simple but it depends on what we are talking about..here velocity is proportional to radius...provided angular velocity is constant...just check this out.u would have a better understanding on the relationship between radius and velocity http://www.physlink.com/education/askexperts/ae154.cfm
