(x^2-9)/(x^3+x^2-9x-9)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x^3+x^2-9x-9) can be factored : (x(x^2-9)+(x^2-9)) = (x+1)(x^2-9) can you do it now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you rationalize the expression?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothing much more to do .. the denominator is (x+1)(x^2-9) as i said .. now the whole expression is : (x^2-9)/(x+1)(x^2-9) which is 1/(x+1)

Thank you!
