5x/7=22 z=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But there's no 'z' in the equation, only x.

Parth (parthkohli):

A RANDOM VARIABLE \(z\) HAZ POPPED UP ZOMG!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 29

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply 22 by 7... 5x=110 x=22 if thats what you want!

Parth (parthkohli):

@theredhead1617 @joshuamcelwain Are 22 and 29 the same numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?

Parth (parthkohli):

@joshuamcelwain Do you think that \(22 \times = 110\)?

Parth (parthkohli):

22 x 7^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No sorry I was wrong it's x = 29/5. That's what he wants.

hartnn (hartnn):

22*7/5 no 1 esle is correct

hartnn (hartnn):

154/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah woops, 22*7 is 154. You would then divide that by 5 to get 154/5 or 30.8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5x – 7 = 22 add 7 both sides 5x = 22+7 = 29 5x = 29 divide by 5 both sides x = 29/5 = 5 4/5
