OpenStudy (goformit100):

What are natural numbers.

OpenStudy (goformit100):

@Alexis_Rivera @AravindG @Vaidehi09 @bkrajendra @bobbylynn@Callisto @aliowl @ParthKohli @theredhead1617 @myininaya @LoveYou*69

OpenStudy (aravindg):

actually natural numbers are those numbers that occur to us naturally ie 1,2,3,4 ....etc

OpenStudy (aravindg):

hence the name

OpenStudy (goformit100):

What r whole numbers then?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

when we add 0 to natural nos we get whole numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is some boring discussion about whether 0 is a natural number. do not get drawn in to that discussion, it is not worth your time just what @AravindG said

OpenStudy (aravindg):

so whole numbers is 0,1,2,3....

OpenStudy (goformit100):

so is 40 an natudal number?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

you can think of it like whole has a hole in so 0 is included :p

OpenStudy (goformit100):

And 100 is it also a Natural Number ?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

40 is a natural number !

OpenStudy (goformit100):

@satellite73

OpenStudy (goformit100):

@AravindG you told 40 is a natural number but too told 0 is not a natural number ? Why so ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100 is both natural and whole.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Natural numbers = positive whole numbers Definition: The positive integers (whole numbers) 1, 2, 3, etc., and sometimes zero as well.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

is 40=0 @goformit100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why am I tagged? lol(:

OpenStudy (aravindg):

@goformit100 pls dont make it a hobby to tag so many people like this

OpenStudy (goformit100):

0 was discovered mucch later after natural number . Then how can you tell that 0 containing numbers like 40 and 100,etc. are Natural Number but 0 is not ??????

OpenStudy (goformit100):

@sachinrajsharma

OpenStudy (goformit100):
