hartnn (hartnn):

subtract 2 from both sides, what u get ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x= -11 u subtract - 2 to both sides then u are left with -x= 11 that just means the x has to be negative so x=-11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2-x=13 -x=13-2 -x=11 \[\frac{ -x }{ -1 }=\frac{ 11 }{ -1 }\] x=-11
