Find f(x) and g(x) so that the function can be described as y = f(g(x)).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

function is \[y=\frac{ 9x }{ x^2 }+2\]

hartnn (hartnn):

to find f(g(x)) means to replace 'x' in f(x) by g(x). here u can find many pairs of individual functions f and g like (1) f(x)=9x+2 , g(x)=x/x^2 (2) f(x)= x+2 , g(x)=9x/x^2 and so on..

thanks

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome :)
