II am trying to find out if the given pair order is a solution to (2,-1); x^2 + y^2 - 6x + 8y = -15. I am having trouble solving because I am not sure if I drop the x and y and plug in the 2, -1?

Yes, everywhere there is an x plug in 2 and everywhere there is a y plug in -1. if the statement is true, then it is a solution., If false, it is not.
