Trouble with difference quotients... The function given is f(x)=(x)^(1/2) But then they also supplied a=13 & h=9 I have no idea were to go from there...

Hmm I'm not familiar with the notation, I'm guessing, A is your starting point, and H is the end point? :o

I'm just really confused since in the book we're using it seems to say that a is a fixed point and h is the distance between a and x. It makes zero sense to supply them both since the answer is obviously not 4 or 22.
