how do you simplify (4x^2-2x+1)-(5x^2+2x+3)

OpenStudy (andriod09):

\[(4x^{2}-2x+1)-(5x^{2}+2x+3)\] lets look at the first part first. okay?

OpenStudy (andriod09):

Lets factor it. \[4x^{2}-2x+1\]\[(2x+.5)(2x+.5)\]

OpenStudy (andriod09):

now lets do the second part: \[5x^{2}+2x+3\]\[(2x+1.5)(3x+1.5)\] and one of the \[(2x+5)\] should acually be: \[(2x-0.5)\]

wow your good thankyou

OpenStudy (andriod09):

no problem. I just finished a segment about Factoring in my curriculum. :P
