a new shirt costs $14.99. if the shirt is on sale for 1/5 of the price,ABOUT how much would u save

zepdrix (zepdrix):

ABOUT? So I guess you're suppose to do with without a calculator? :) Or they just want you to round off maybe? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know but how would i do that with 15 and 1/5?

zepdrix (zepdrix):

So it normally costs about 15$, now it is 1/5 that price. So yes, it now costs 15 x 1/5. Do you know how to multiply fractions ok? :)
