one of two complementary angles is six more than one-fifth of the other. Find the two angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically you need to solve this being x one angle the other is 6+ one fifth of x so : \[x + (\frac{ x }{ 5 } + 6) = 90\] can you solve that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you will get x = 70° in the end so one fifth of seven plus 6 is 20° and you get 2 complementary angles ( sum is 90°).
