I need help developing an equation for a parabolic graph of height vs time. A plane takes off and reaches standard crusing altitude (30,000 ft) in a half hour, and flies at a relatively constant height above ground, then lands 6 hours later. I know the basic equation is f(x)= x^2, but how would I alter it to fit this situation?
