What is rotational symmetry?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are two types ...reflection and rotational

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its just any path

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1349220840119:dw| One has an infinite number of lines of symetry ..one doesn't

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow, thanks! So, it is basically how many times I can draw a line through an object, like regular symmetry?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes :) ....reflection items are like a calculator and a wheel is rotational

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um i think so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright thanks so much!! You have helped me tons :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can test the item like this ...turn it clockwise and a rotational item would be symettrical no matter where you stopped...and im glad i could help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

great! Thanks!
