Negative:
KKK founding
Black Codes, which led to Jim Crow
Many freedmen were killed in an attempt to "recapture" slaves.
The South faced economic turmoil caused by printing CSA bills and carpetbaggers.
The bad handling by Andrew Johnson led to his Impeachment.
