What kind of triangle has sides of lenghts 6,7,and 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

scalene

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats not an option I think its obtuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if your measuring angles.. what are the options?

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

What? I would go with @yolandapicasonigguh

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

You need degrees to say if it is obtuse, acute, or right.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

With plain old numbers like you just gave Scalene is definitely the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the options are obtuse right and acute

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah^ unless the numbers you gave are measurements?

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Yes, but you have to know if you had an obtuse angle or acute or right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equestion isnt right then lol

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

I agree with @yolandapicasonigguh you should show your teacher.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

I used to tutor Geometry

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

for Geometry*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So obtuse triangle, right triangle and acute triangle are not options?

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

In reality no they are not. If you think about it an Obtuse triangle can be labeled with different numbers but so can a right triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So if you had to pick one if would be obtuse?

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

Yup.

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

You go to a public school?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for youre help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea
