f(x)=6x and g(x)=4x+1, find (f(g))(x).... I thought it would be 24x^2+6x but it's 24x+6? Why is this??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is because you put (4x + 1) in replace of the x in f(x)=6x so it becomes f(g(x))= 6(4x+1) then you distribute the 6
