I have x+y=34 .10x+.25y=7.45 would that be the right setup for You have $7.45 in coins which are all dimes and quarters. If you have 34 coins in total, how many are dimes and how many are quarters? i get x=7 and y=27 but its different from the answer sheet.

those are the correct answers, its possible that there is a typo in the answer sheet :)
True, but the answer sheet says 21 dimes 13 quarters. major typo lol
