When I say "nosotros nos graduamos en junio de 2009", should I say "en el junio de 2009" ?

The first way that you said it sounds pretty good. At least to me. "Nosotros nos graduamos en junio de 2009." Whenever we used the word "el" in a date, it was always attached to a day, such as "El 23 de junio." (The 23rd of June)
