Help; how do I make this paragraph sound more like I'm against the decision ? :)

"The Supreme Court of Canada came to the conclusion that students are entitled to privacy in a school environment. The search violated section 8 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms since there was no authority at common law for the sniffer dog search. Due to this fact, the evidence is excluded as it would not be considered fair justice if it wasn't. Therefore, the appeal was dismissed. "
