(x+9)(x-6) > 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@EulerGroupie Already showed us how to do this... When it is equal to 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If either factor is 0, then it multiplied out to 0.

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

\[x^2+(9-6)x-54>0\] then solve it

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

@MBrecht92 ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So \[x+9=0\]\[x-6=0\]It's just solving for x to get critical points... then testing between those points.
