Solve: 4x^(3) + 12x^(2) - 9x - 27 = 0. I got as far as (4x^(2)-9) (x+3). and the answer is -3, -3/2, 3/2. am I on the right track here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.\[4 x^2-9=(2 x-3) (2 x+3) \]
