Julie is selling candy bars to raise money for new band uniforms. Candy bar X sells for $2 and candy bar Y sells for $3. Julie needs to sell at least three times more Y candy bars than X candy bars. She has at most 36 candy bars to sell. According to the graph, which set of points represents all the vertices of the feasible region?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

points will be above line y = 3x means from (0,0) to (9,27) and then to (0,27)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you sure it is (0, 27)? i would think it is (0, 36)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it will be 0,27 because she needs to sell atleast three times more y than x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but i need to find the feasible region to this graph which would make (0, 36) understandable....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh sorry i just checked i had written the third point wrong it is (0,36)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry lavalava for getting you confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it should be (9,27) where the two graphs intersect.
