How do I figure this out... I don't know where to even start. f(x) = 1 over x^2-3

OpenStudy (amorfide):

what do you want to do? differentiate? find x? find something...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find f(3)

OpenStudy (amorfide):

okay so f(x) is a function containing x but you want f(3) a function containing 3's, so instead of x's, replace all x's with the value 3 f(3) = 1 over 3^2-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer would be 1/3... ?

OpenStudy (amorfide):

is 3^2-3 all one power or is it 3²-3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 over all 3²-3

OpenStudy (amorfide):

1/9-3 = 1/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhhh, I see! meant to put 6, not 3, haha. :P Thank you!!
