Meh..math is so hard. Can you simplify 3/8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, you can't. 3 and 8 have no common factors

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no you cannot, due to the fact that 3 and 8 have no common factors

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5/9 x 36?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that = 180/9 180 can be divided by 9, which equals 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/4 x 36 and can you simplify it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KittehVector yes it = 27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to learn to do your own problems too! what are you gonna do when it comes to the test? anyway, to do this, change the whole number to a fraction, and multiply like you would multiply 2 fractions.

I know. I'm a VERY slow person when it comes to Math, and I'm sorry. But every answer I get ends up wrong. I just want to know what I'm doing wrong to getting my answers
