I need some help finding a word with the PREFIX dia- (day) in it. Help please! Thx :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there aren't a lot of words with that prefix that is used in terms of "day." dia, more commonly means "through" or "throughout" but i think diary would work

I know I found lots for the greek meaning but none for the latin meaning. Just hard finding one with a medical/scientific meaning.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

diagnosis fits the scientific meaning, though not the latin one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank-you, i'll keep searching :)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

diamagnetism, dialysis, diasteroisomer, diabetes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dialect, diadem
